a) No purchase necessary to enter or win.
b) Each of the product offer, the dollar off coupon, and the contest will be limited to one entry per person and is open to US and Canadian residents only (void in Puerto Rico).
c) Contest begins at 12 noon PST on July 6th 2009 and ends at 12 noon on December 31st 2009. There are two ways to enter: online, or by mail. No other method of entry will be accepted.
Online Method: to enter online during the entry period, go to www.gardein.com. Follow the directions to complete the online entry form, answer the questions and click submit.
By Mail Method: if you do not wish to enter online, you may enter the contest by printing your name, address, city, province/state and postal/zip code, age, day & evening telephone number and email address (if you have one) and the words "gardein giveaway" on a 3" x 5" card, and mail it to:

All entries must be received by 12 noon PST on December 31st 2009. The contest draw will be held at the head office of Garden Protein International Inc ("GPI") on December 31, 2009 from the eligible entries received up to that time. The winning entrant will be notified by e-mail or mail within two weeks of the draw.
d) All entrants must be 18 or over (or over the age of majority in his or her state) on the day of submitting their entry and must not be employees of GPI, its affiliates or family members.
e) Each of the prize options has an approximate value of CND$1,300. GPI reserves the right to substitute other prizes of equal or greater value if any of the prizes offered become unavailable for any reason. Only one prize will be awarded at the conclusion of the contest.
All federal, state, and local taxes, fees and surcharges on prize packages are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The prize winner may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance form within seven (7) days following notification. Return of any prize and/or prize notification as undeliverable or failure of any entrant to comply with any official rules will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
f) If GPI determines that, for any reason in its sole discretion, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including the fairness or integrity of the contest, it reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the contest.
g) GPI reserves the right to modify the contest rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the contest.
h) All decisions of GPI with respect to all aspects of this contest are final.
i) All entries become the property of GPI.
j) All information collected by GPI in this promotion is protected against unauthorized access.
k) No correspondence will be entered into with any contestants except with the selected entrant.
l) The contest is governed by the laws of Canada and is subject to all federal, local, provincial and municipal regulations and is void in Puerto Rico where prohibited by law.
m) By entering the contests, all entrants agree to be bound by the contest rules.
n) The winner grants GPI the right to use and publish his or her legal name and province/state of residence online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the contest. Except winners who are residents of the state of Tennessee, acceptance of a prize constitutes permissions for GPI and its advertising and promotional agencies to use the winners name and likeness for editorials, advertising, and promotional purposes without payment of additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, entrants release and hold harmless GPI, its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest or any prize won, any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, participation in any contest related activity, or participation in the contest.
o) As a condition of participating in this contest, entrant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between and the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively, before a court of competent jurisdiction located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which court shall apply the laws of the province of British Columbia without regard for rules of conflicts of law. In any such dispute, entrant shall, under no circumstances, be entitled to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (if any) associated with participating in the contest, and entrant hereby waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
